Christopher Last
Chris has spent over 20 years in the corporate world, steering the strategy and operations of multi-million-pound organisations. He’s built a reputation for delivering commercial growth, driving revenue, and shaping operational excellence—but what really sets him apart is his genuine passion for making a difference.
Over the past five years, Chris has actively turned that focus outward, using his skills to support organisations in the third sector. He currently serves as one of eight Non-Executive Directors at Cricket Wales, where he plays a key role in guiding the organisation’s transition from a limited company to a charitable foundation—an experience that speaks to his commitment to good governance and community impact.
Chris also brings insight from working with SaaS businesses across the public and third sectors, equipping him with a strong understanding of digital transformation, service delivery, and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. He’s deeply invested in causes that put people first, which makes him a natural fit for Citizens Advice Newport—a place where his experience and heart for helping others come together.
In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, hiking and as much family down time exploring with his wife and two daughters.
